Privacy Policy

Zec Wallet is a non-custodial wallet. Your keys, recovery phrase, and viewing keys are generated and stored only on your device. We do not operate accounts and never have access to your funds or your keys.

None. We do not collect, store, sell, or share personal data. There is no sign-up, no login, no analytics SDKs, and no advertising or tracking. No data is used to track you across apps or websites.

Your wallet keys, recovery phrase, addresses, and local transaction cache are stored on your device (secured by the iOS Keychain). This data never leaves your device except as needed to broadcast transactions to the Zcash network.

To function, the app connects to public infrastructure. When it does, those providers may see your device's IP address and the requests you make (this is inherent to any blockchain wallet):

• Zcash lightwalletd servers (e.g. zec.rocks) — to sync blockchain data and broadcast transactions.
• Public block explorers (e.g. Blockchair) — when you tap a link to view a transaction or address.
• Price data providers (e.g. CoinGecko) — to display the ZEC fiat price.

We do not control these third parties; see their own privacy policies. We do not send them any personal identifiers.

Transactions broadcast to the Zcash network are recorded on a public ledger. Shielded (private) transactions hide amounts and parties; transparent transactions are publicly visible.

The app is not directed at children under 13.

We may update this policy; the effective date above will change.
